Covent Garden is a heart of London entertainment life. There are many theatres, museums, hotels,restaurants, pubs, including Royal Opera House. You can find here also street musicians and clowns. People seat on the ground, listen the music, eat lunch and even rectify maquillage;-)

We planned to visit one of the great musical shows which are so many in London. Knowing about Leicester Square that is famed for a huge amount of ticket boxes selling tickets by very affordable prices, we went there.

Unfortunately we could not buy cheap tickets to Mamma Mia, but we could choose tickets from a wide range other variations - from Lion of King and Phantom of the Opera to Dirty Dancing, We Will Rock You and more.

We decided in favor of We Will Rock. We had a great time, because it was really big rock show with super modern decorations and very talented young singers and dancers.

When we looked at the Tower from Big Bus Tour we saw many people waiting before the entrance - long-long line of people.
Next day we came here early morning - around 9 AM and bought tickets easy, maybe after 5 minutes waiting near the cashbox window.
Price for adult ticket - 16 pounds, for kids before 16 years old - 9 pounds

Inside we rented the audio guide in Russian - more 3 pounds and took the tour according to audio guide instructions

Founded nearly a 900 years ago , the Tower of London has protected, housed, imprisoned and been for many the last sight they saw on Earth.

The second free walk tour we got from Big Bus Company was tour about Beatles places in London.
We saw the house where was opened any TV studio if I understood right and near this house another one where Mozart lived when he visited London at his 9th age.
We came to Soho Square to look at the Paul McCartney’s music publishing company building with his logo

Next stop - Gentlemen toilet where John Lennon made a photo

This interested wall has many famous faces on it including John Lennon’s face

In this building - firstly in the basement and later on the last floor - Beatles recorded their music

One of the free walk tours we got from Big Bus Tour Company was Royal London.
It’s started near St. James Palace that was built by Henry VIII between 1531 and 1536 and was a residence of kings and queens of England for over 300 years.

Our guide told us about history of this castle and about Royal Family today.
We waited for the very beautiful and colorful ceremony of Changing the Guard started 10.50am on Marlborough Gate.

Many people come to look at this great show.

When we visited London on our summer vacation we decided to take Big Bus Tour for getting first impressions and orientation. There are two storied comfortable red buses that have 3 variations of routes - red, green and blue. We took blue route with audio guide on many languages.

This is the system of Hop-on and Hop-off as much as you wish with possibility to join to free walking tours and river trip on Thames.
